Upload the report you want to protect.
Prepare one self-contained HTML file with its styles, scripts and images included. HTMLRadar serves the file as it is, so anything that needs Claude or another service to run will not work outside it.
Sign in to HTMLRadar, upload the HTML file and select “Create the document”. Open “New link” on the document page. Give the link a name so you can recognise its reading activity.
Set the password before sending the link.
In “Who can open it”, turn on “Ask for a password”. Enter the password, then select “Create the link”. If you do not see these options, open “More rules”.
Copy the link for your reader. Send the password in a separate message. Open the link in a private window to check that it asks for the password before showing the report.
Use an e-mail code to restrict access.
A password can be forwarded with the link. To restrict access to a particular mailbox, also turn on “Ask for their e-mail” and “Confirm it with a code”, and enter the address in “Who is allowed in”. A password alone does not identify the reader.
See the report your reader could receive.
Open the fictional monthly client report.
This sample is public so you can inspect the page. Your own link will show the password step you configured.
Change access from the link settings.
Open the link’s settings to change its password or add a date with “Switch off on a date”. Select “Save changes”. These settings belong to each link, so check every link you intend to protect.
