What changes for you
Your readers see your company’s name, not ours.
The address is the first thing a reader sees, in your e-mail and in the browser. We built this because a customer wanted the links they sent to read as their company’s.
Nothing else about the link changes.
Tracking, e-mail gates, passwords, expiry dates and read reports work exactly as they do on htmlradar.page.
Links you already sent stay where they are.
Connecting a domain changes only where new links are served from. Everything already sent keeps opening at the address it was issued on.

Can I use a bare domain, like yourcompany.com?
Not yet. Cloudflare needs a CNAME record to issue the certificate, and a CNAME at the root of a domain breaks that domain’s own mail and website. Use a subdomain instead, such as decks.yourcompany.com.
Someone else manages our DNS. What do I send them?
Settings has a button that copies the instructions for whoever manages your website. It is one CNAME record, and it changes nothing else on your domain.
Our domain is on Cloudflare already. Does it still work?
Yes. We confirm a domain points at us by requesting it over HTTPS ourselves, not by checking DNS, so it works whether your DNS is managed on Cloudflare or anywhere else.
What if the record is removed later?
We keep checking the domain. If it stops answering, Settings says so, and links on it do not open until the record is back. Put the record back and press Check again.
What happens to my links if I disconnect the domain?
Every link already issued on that domain stops opening, and it cannot be moved to another address: anyone holding one needs a new link from you. Links on htmlradar.page are unaffected.
We have caching rules on our domain. Is there anything to exclude?
One path: /v1/tracker*, the tracking script. A rule that overrides cache headers for your whole hostname, such as an Edge Cache TTL or Browser Cache TTL setting or a page rule, would keep an old script running after we replace it, and reads could be recorded as zero seconds. Exclude that path, or set the rule to respect existing headers. Nothing else needs an exception.
